Through the Eyes of a Child

I sent the littlest farmer out to the barnyard with our camera.  I wanted some updated pictures of the goatees to send to Mary,  who blessed us with our goats.  It was so fun to see what she came up with.
Hello Flip!
Hello LillyBelle!
Good morning Ladies!
Whoa!  This is a different perspective.
Flip said, "Don't worry girls, I got your backs!"
What a handsome boy Flippy is.

All is calm and peaceful in the barnyard.

Progress

My Clay's Choice is in the quilt frame!  My youngest girl reached in the picture to grab my thimble just as I snapped the picture.
I also had another quilting buddy,  dear, sweet Sunny.

Why Can't I Only Do 1 Project At a Time?

You never can tell when inspiration will strike.  I don't know why I can't finish one project before starting another!  Last night I started a retirement quilt for my Pastor's wife.  The blocks seem to be going together pretty smoothly.  This pattern is called Shooting Star or Clay's Choice.
This morning I was looking at quilt blogs and I stumbled across a new favorite.  Bee in my bonnet blog.  There are many tempting projects, but the one that jumped out at me was an apron for  a water bottle.  I just had to make one for myself.  How cute, the straw goes in the pocket.
I think these would be darling as favors for a ladies luncheon or a bridal shower.

Bear Paw Progress

I am making "the boy"  a Bear Paw quilt.  I have 4 rows together and 3 more to go.
I should have bought him a smaller bed, then I would be finished by now!

More Scrappy Valentine

I used more Valentine quilt scraps and made a little table mat for my mom.
The reverse side is little patriotic flags.

Valentine Quilt

Last week I finished the Valentine quilt and my hubby hung it.  Not only did he hang it, but he drug in the ladder and cleaned the window that is 17 feet off of the ground and the ceiling fan.  He earned some major Hubby points!  I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.  Everything was from my stash.

I had enough left over to make a smaller wall quilt for Super Granny!  I love you Mammy!
