I love the patterns from Marie Madeline. Little M. was requesting a new skirt. She picked some fabric from my stash and I made her a skirt. I was pleasantly surprised that it went together quickly.
She didn't want to take it off. I have one happy little girl. Oh...the best thing about this skirt is that it is very twirly.
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it! Psalms 118:24

Twelve!
Our boy turned 12 this past week. The years seem to have flown by. I love his sense of humor and his deep love of animals. He is turning into such a loving young man. He celebrated by having a few friends over. Happy Birthday Buddy!

Crafting......
Lots of crafting going on in this house! I finished a Snow Angels cross stitch picture that I started in October and found a frame at Goodwill that fit just perfect.
Next on the list was a new bible bag for the oldest daughter.
I completed quilting the top of the retirement quilt and have my son's Bear Paw quilt in the frame.
I would love a day to just sit and quilt.

A Wonderful Week
I had the best week. It started last Thursday when Hubby said we were going out to eat tomorrow and you may want to pack a bag in case it gets too late. What!!!! Did I hear that correctly???? Alone with Hubby for dinner and overnight!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!
With the kiddos off to Mammy and Pappy's house, the adventure began. But where were we going? Hubby refused to give up his secret. We ended up at Heritage Hills Hotel. Dinner was at Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. Our meal was delicious. A buffet featuring stuffed shells, crab stuffed salmon, carved beef, sweet and sour pork, veggies, salads, desserts. Then came the play. "Run For Your Wife". It was funny. When it was over, we walked back to the hotel and snuggled in for the night.
The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast buffet in the hotel.
After breakfast we spent the day shopping. I did get to spend a few minutes in a quilt shop.
What a wonderful way to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary!
On Sunday afternoon, Hubby and the littlest farmer came home with a beautiful tulip bouquet. Man, I sure am getting spoiled.
Little M. made me a chicken potholder.
It just keeps getting better. On our actual anniversary, we were treated to The Love Nest Diner, in our very own dining room. We had the best service, even had a bell to ring when we needed something.
To top it all off, Little M. gave me a foot massage.
A wonderful week to celebrate our love.
