The Stockings Are Hung!

The animals are so excited for Christmas.  They have been singing carols all day.  All the decorations are up!

Nobody wanted to cooperate with wearing antlers.  The ladies did like the scarves though.Sunny does make a beautiful rein dog!

Good Morning!

What a beautiful morning we had.  It was 70 degrees today.  Last week we had our first snow and today it was warm.  Crazy.

When we opened up the barn door this morning, the girls made a stampede out the door.

Next was a good morning treat for Petey.

Of course, we can't forget treats for Flip, LillyBelle, and Sarah.

New Faces in the Barnyard

This August we welcomed a little white bunny who stole our hearts.  Petey was born in May of this year.  Oh,,,,,,,Petey, you are a honey!

Last Friday we welcomed our 3 goaties into our empty stall.  Welcome Lilly, Sarah, and Flip!  You make me so happy!

The Five Year Quilt

Finally, It's done!  This quilt was started in July 2007 right after we moved in our home.  I was determined to make a king sized quilt for our new bed.  Five years later (with a few quilts made in between), it is finally done.  It is the Double Irish Chain pattern from the More Quilts From the Quiltmaker's Gift book.
