School Days

Today was our first day of school.  I must say, I am glad its over.  The first few days are always a little difficult for me until I get into a routine.

The farmers love to get new school supplies.  It helps to get them excited for back to school time.

Here are some pics of our day and our new school room. We are really enjoying the space.
Our curriculum is My Father's World.  First grade for Pussycat.
Creation to the Greeks for Rowdy and Cupcake  (4th grade and 7th grade).
I love this curriculum.  It is nicely laid out and we are learning the same things at the same time.

    Thanks Valerie. The murals were easy to do. We used an overhead projector and penciled it on the walls and then used craft paints to paint. It was outlined in black permanent marker.

    That first day was a bugger for me, too. A wise lady told me to "take it one day at a time.";) Your room does look great. Those Adventure Bay-themed mural transparencies just keep on givin'!
